Accessibility information
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.yourstruly.eu .
Service description
On the website yourstruly.eu you will find information about professional hair care products and styling solutions from the Yours Truly brand, which is exclusively distributed by Wild Beauty GmbH . You can discover our products in our online shop, add them to your shopping cart and order conveniently online.
Furthermore, we offer you additional services such as a salon search, product advice and care tips related to hair, styling and sustainability.
Instructions for use
The homepage and all subpages are logically structured and accessible via the main navigation. Products can be filtered by type, application, or desired result. Additionally, there is a search function that allows users to search directly by product name or topic. Each product page lists the ingredients, provides application tips, and suggests products that can be combined with the product. Users can order selected items via the shopping cart. A separate field allows customers to specify their salon when placing an order.
Explanations regarding shipping, returns and care advice can be found in the service section of the website.
Applicable requirements
-
the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular Section 14 in conjunction with Section 3 Paragraph 1 BFSG, or the identical Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG) (there Section 2 Paragraph 2 No. 6 BaFG)
The technical requirements are based on the harmonized European standard EN 301 549, version 3.2.1 .
Meeting accessibility requirements
Our website is largely accessible and adheres to the four WCAG principles – perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness. However, not all content can currently be offered in a fully accessible format.
Perceivability
-
Readability: The pages use clear fonts and sufficiently large font sizes.
-
Contrasts: The color scheme is based on dark text on a light background or vice versa.
-
Alternative texts: Images are provided with meaningful alternative texts that describe the image's subject matter.
Usability
-
Keyboard navigation: Core functions such as product selection, the shopping cart, and the contact form can be accessed via the keyboard. The navigation is logically structured, and all menu items are accessible. Buttons and links are sufficiently large.
-
Forms: Contact and order forms have labeled fields. The contact form explains how the data is used. Error messages are displayed.
Comprehensibility
-
Structure and language: The content is divided into short paragraphs and uses easily understandable language. Product pages are divided into clearly named sections such as "Ingredients", "Application", and "Safety Instructions".
-
Error messages: If incorrect information is entered into forms, understandable instructions appear explaining which field still needs to be filled in.
robustness
-
Compatibility: The website is based on modern web technologies and uses semantic HTML structures (headings, lists, and paragraphs). This allows current screen readers to largely interpret the content.
-
Technical implementation: The pages are updated regularly, but remain on the same system. This ensures basic compatibility with common browsers and assistive technologies.
Non-accessible content
Although we are continuously working to improve accessibility, some content is currently not fully accessible:
-
Some images or icons do not yet have alternative text.
-
Individual elements (e.g., buttons or font colors on certain backgrounds) do not yet meet the required contrast values.
-
Some interactive elements (e.g., modal dialogs or sliders) are not fully operable via keyboard.
- Forms do not offer automatic input assistance.
Reasons
Some of these limitations are technical in nature (e.g., with third-party modules or embedded videos). We are continuously working to resolve these issues.
Alternative solutions
If you are unable to access certain information, we are happy to provide accessible alternatives (e.g., accessible PDFs or textual image descriptions). Please contact our customer service – for example, via the chat in the bottom right corner, the contact form, or by phone – so that we can send you the requested content in a suitable format.
Accessibility assessment
The assessment is based on a self-evaluation in conjunction with automated tests (e.g., with Lighthouse, webaim) as well as manual reviews of individual page sections. The assessment presented here is based on a self-review by the internal web team of Wild Beauty GmbH.
