Our commitment to clean beauty means that all Yours Truly shampoos do their bit to help save our planet. You won’t find any silicones, microplastics or other controversial ingredients in our products. We instead primarily rely on plant-based ingredients: Up to 100 %* of the ingredients in our formulas are natural origin. Cruelty-free products with a clean conscience: All of our products are vegan and animal-friendly.
Our made-to-order principle ensures the manufacture of our shampoos is just as sustainable as the rest of our hair and body care products. Conventional cosmetics sold in stores are typically stored for long periods of time, as they are first produced in large quantities, transported to the store and gradually sold over time. This not only consumes a lot of warehouse space, energy and packaging materials: It also means that the product has already lost its all-important quality by the time it lands on your bathroom shelf.

Our sustainable shampoos, conditioners and other hair and body care products, are all mixed to order at our in-house laboratory in Seeheim-Jugenheim and shipped immediately. A process that’s kind to you and the environment. We’ve done away with unnecessary bulk manufacturing, storage and transportation to guarantee you receive fresh high-end hair care products.
Shampoo and more in sustainable packaging
A sustainable shampoo isn't truly sustainable without eco-friendly packaging to match. It may sound simple enough, but there’s lots of things to take into account: For instance, did you know that the size of the label on your shampoo bottle affects whether it is easy to recycle, and that containers with excessive product residues require energy-intensive cleaning before recycling?
But don’t sweat it. At Yours Truly, we’ll handle the nitty-gritty for you. We’ve spent endless hours carefully curating each aspect of our packaging. Environmentally friendly doesn’t go far enough in our opinion. All of our packaging also meets the strictest standards when it comes to product safety and shelf life while using as few preservatives as possible.
We have commissioned an external institute to inspect and rate the recyclability of our product packaging. We are proud that we have been certified with a great recyclability in category A+++.

Our sustainable packaging:
Recycled glass (Hair & Body Oil and Hair Perfume), recycled PCR plastic (Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash Milk). Manufactured with as few materials as possible and 100% recyclable. Low energy consumption during recycling due to smaller labels and no material mixing. Optimal product protection against light penetration and impurities.
We fill and label each bottle by hand and deliver your personalized hair care in outer packaging and boxes made from resource-saving FSC paper. To us, learning is a journey that never ends. We're continuously working on developing new innovations to make our products even more sustainable.
